The University of Barcelona is the best university in Spain and the 1st in Catalonia according to 2020 QS World University Rankings. The university was founded in 1450 and the six main campuses are rich with history and deep academic traditions.
As one of the largest universities in Spain, the University of Barcelona welcomes many students from other Spanish universities and almost 12,000 international students.
Credit system
30 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) is the normal course load at UB. This equates to 60 credits at Massey University.
Course codes
UB's course numbering system is different from Massey's in that it does not include the year of study. Please email the Student Mobility team for help with finding appropriate courses for your year of study.

Accommodation

Courses
Courses are measured by ECTS. Popular subjects include Psychology, Communication, Biochemistry, Chemistry and Mathematics. A range of pre-approved Business courses is available upon request.
