There are Māori student associations on each campus.

Our role is to provide leadership to the student body and represent our students to the university and wider community. We also run events to help Māori students connect with our university whānau.

Manawatahi – Manawatū (Palmerston North)

Manawatahi is the Māori student association on the Manawatū campus. Our main goal is to support our tauira through the struggles that university can bring. We'll support you socially, mentally, emotionally and physically wherever we can. Tikanga informs everything we do.

Pukeahu – Wellington

Kōkiri Ngātahi, which means "advance together" is the Māori student association on the Wellington campus. We're a collective of Māori students who inspire other Māori tauira to feel welcome and be one with Massey University. We recognise the importance of manaakitanga and whakawhanaungatanga for our success, and the need for Māori students to work as one strong unit to strive towards our goals.
