Over 1000 students will cross the stage at the Regent on Broadway this week as Massey University graduation celebrations kick-off in Palmerston North.

The ceremonies start today and will continue twice-daily across six ceremonies, along with events to celebrate Māori and Pasifika graduates.

A total of 1129 students will graduate, including 40 students with doctorates and 146 receiving master’s degrees. An Honorary Doctorate and an Earned Doctor of Literature, will also be awarded.

The final graduation ceremony will be held in Wellington next month.

Massey staff will be on hand to take photos for social media after each ceremony. It's a great chance to get some more casual photos with family and friends. These photos will be posted on Facebook after each ceremony, for students to share, like and comment on.

Twitter and Instagram users attending graduation day, whether in academic robes or as family and friends, are encouraged to share highlights using the hashtag #MasseyGrad.

You can watch a live stream of each ceremony here.
